week 4

In the quote "good literature substitutes for experience which we have not ourselves lived through". I think he means that you can write something about adventures, crazy or just normal experiences but you may not be able to experience it yourself yet or even at all.So just because you haven't experienced all you can doesn't mean you cant wright about anything to your best ability. Anybody can write something and it can be good even though they havent experienced what they're writing about.
This quote relates to my book because Emma is not that old yet but she is verry smart. She can still write good and she hasnt experienced much yet either. so that can kinda prove that you can dont need to be experienced to be able to write.

week 2

I think it means that no one can truly understand literature. It can have so many meanings. Even meanings that were not intended. It all just depends on how you look at it and how you think about it. Everyone thinks of stuff differently. You may see it one way while a friend may see it differently.

The quote relates to the book I am currently reading no one can describe emma and what she loves doing just like the quote

new book...Emma

I'm reading a new book. It's called Emma. So far it seems pretty good and i understand most of it. Its about a girl named Emma and her family. Emma likes to set different people up and shes pretty good at it. they always end up married in the end.

Kim

i finished the book Kim. it was very challenging and i didn't understand a lot of it but i got threw it with in like 2 weeks.

In this book I think that the bigger words will challenge me cause I wont know what they mean. I might have to read a little slower so i can understand everything in the book. I will deal with these challenges by looking up words I don't know or understand and just read a lot more carefully then i normally do.
the book i chose was Kim. I chose that book because as i read that back description it seemed to keep my attention. I figured it would be a good book and would challenge me in ways I've never been challenged when reading.
just got my book for my project I'm reading Kim.
